Very good point on Prop. 8 →
I think when we lose, sometimes we lose perspective. This video makes a good point for the positive aspect of the Prop. 8 decision. Point blank, it’s GOING to happen. We just need to work on hurrying it up.

MATTs Radio Special Memorial Day BBQ Bonus Show! →
Okay, this is a good one. The radio station was closed, so our webmaster Sparkiepop suggested we record the show ourselves in a secret location. So we did and it turned out amazingly (if I do say so). No guests, just Dwyer and I and some songs for around 90 minutes. Sparkie put a ton of work into this, so kudos to her. We loaded up on the music so as to make the episode more enjoyable for, say, a...

drunk montreal post #1
I thought my tumblarity was the amount of followers I had, and when it dropped to half its number I wondered what the hell I posted when I was drunk.  drewhancock: question:  why do i care so much about my tumblarity?   answer:  because i’m a human being and i’m obsessed with people liking me.   conclusion:  fuck tumblr for toying with my insecurities.

MATTs Radio now on iTunes →
Huzzah! All hail Sparkiepop, internet master! Seriously, I wouldn’t be able how to figure out how to do this if you had my parents at gunpoint. Wait, maybe your parents. Anyway, this rocks. I love doing the show, I love having the guests we’re having, and I love getting to play any music we ever want to. Also, I love you if you listen and/or subscribe. Just in time for summer! ...

Anytime someone says what he or she says to their friends when hardly anyone’s around to a packed house I get really impressed. Sorry for that long, awful sentence.

The Marriage of Figaro. You Know, the Gay Guy.
Hilarious and dead-on. “Can I go to Middle Earth?” johnvargas: It seems cliche to chime in on this subject, especially as late as I am now doing it, but what do I care? Recently the subject was brought up of gay marriage. Now, strictly speaking, I was not actually involved in said conversation, it was told to me in a third person conversation. “He asked me what I thought of…” You...

T. Rex ate coconuts and played with children... →
I love you, Kulap, but why are you posting facts everybody knows? Also, thanks for this. Awesome. kulap: In Genesis 1:30 God gives ‘green herb’ to every creature to eat and so there were no predators. When a curious museum visitor asks, why exactly T. rex had six-inch long serrated teeth, the guides go on to explain that T. rex used his big teeth to open coconuts. Apparently it was only after...

Asher Roth and the Racial Crossroads. →
First off, I love Illdoctrine.com and think Jay Smooth is amazing. He’s a hip-hop historian and schoolteacher who just really, really gets it. Here he basically makes several amazing points, one of which is commonly referred to in comedy circles as “ironic racism.” If you have a spare 3 1/2 minutes, give it a watch. Really entertaining and dead on.
