This weekend....
1) A great big girl ran up to me after a show yelling for me to “take off my shirt” and show her my “hairy chest.” I responded that it’s not that hairy, and no thanks. She laughingly yelled that “You Jewish guys are all the same.” Yes. Especially those of us that are Irish/German and have been raised Catholic and aren’t Jewish.

Seger, at 26, is part of a group of aspiring television and film artists called Channel 101 who get together monthly and screen short comic series they’ve made. Everyone votes on the best shows and the winners get the privilege of making yet another episode. So far, Seger has made four five-minute episodes of Ikea Heights. He plans to make another episode this month.

I'm in Kansas City now.
I usually don’t do road gigs back-to-back, but this month is an exception. Last weekend I was in Seattle for Bumbershoot. Now I’m in Kansas City doing a show tonight, one Thursday, two Friday, two Saturday, and one Sunday. Then home again. It’s a little much (kind of), but then I think about all of the horrible jobs I used to have and it stops bothering me.
